Snow condition
The fresh snowfall over the last few days has added a lot more. The rain has unfortunately caused considerable damage below 1,700m last night. There is still a lot of snow, but it has been ruined by the precipitation...
Snow quality
Below 1,700m it was no longer skiable due to the rain. It froze and turned the powder into a world cup run, and above 2,000m the wind blew everything that wasn't nailed down. The hollows are filled with meters of drifting snow, while other areas have been completely blown away. You'll find what you're looking for. On one or two north-facing slopes you will find the finest powder, knee-deep. But be careful, the conditions change quickly, which can be very unpleasant!
Risks
At the top, the wind has blown an incredible amount of snow. The entire morning until 10 a.m. (most of the critical lifts were closed by then) there was massive blasting. There were countless avalanches in the area close to the crest (presumably all caused by explosives). Especially away from the ski area, where no blasting was carried out, there are large drift snow packs, which probably pose the greatest danger!
Overall impression
He finds what he is looking for and can enjoy around 30
powder from the precipitation of the past two days.
Due to the LLB, I concentrated on slopes with a low gradient, which put a bit of a damper on the fun.
The changing conditions due to the loads are also not without their problems.
