Thanks to the fresh snow of the last few days, something like a base is slowly emerging. Nevertheless, there is still rock contact.
Snow quality
The snow quality of the fresh snow is really good, but from midday the sun makes it much heavier than in the morning.
Risks
We observed a few loose snow slides and a snow slab. At this point, a big thank you to the group of avalanche bunnies dressed completely in Scott who didn't miss the opportunity to overtake us while we were inspecting the slope and thus triggered the whole slope. It helped us a lot with our decision.
Overall impression
It's going to be wintry, but you shouldn't be tempted by the fresh snow. Lots of stones and a very thin layer of snow will reduce the fun and there will also be some fresh drifting snow with the wind that sets in around midday.
