In the last 24 hours 15 cm of fresh snow, due to the drifts the base can only be roughly estimated at 50 cm and there was stone contact and also larger drift snow fields, some of which were skied on. Sufficient snow conditions also in the forest aisles up to 1600m.

Unfortunately, the powder was no longer as fluffy,

Risks

Quite treacherous. 4 was issued from 2000m. As Kappl only has southern exposures, I didn't notice the old snow problem. We only skied SW-SE exposures, mainly ski routes and slopes below 35 degrees. Spontaneous releases on the Quellspitzhang and two drift snow avalanches triggered by winter sports enthusiasts were observed (without burials).

Nice day in the area, but you still need patience to ride variants. However, the situation will probably ease up again by the FWQ.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
