Still very lean in the dense forest. However, tracks and open areas are easy to ride. However, some streams are still open and care should also be taken on tree trunks and redwood, as there is only fresh snow on them. Forest descents make sense up to a maximum of 1700m. It is good up to 1900m.

Finest powder everywhere, above the tree line lots of drifts, but the wind has not yet been so strong here that the snow quality has suffered. By the end of the lift, 30 cm all over. Partly 40cm

Risks

Fresh snow slides off completely on a soaked layer. Above 2000m, this layer is frozen, making the connection to the fresh snow even worse. Above the tree line there is still a lot of drifting due to the sometimes very stormy wind. Tomorrow we have to be careful.

Nice afternoon with some fresh snow but in many places you got through to the hard/soaked layer which made the riding a bit bumpy.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
