Snow condition

Ridges, ridges and even entire mountain flanks are blown off. Snow can still be found in hollows sheltered from the wind. On the shaded side, even without a lid. However, sufficient attention must then be paid to the avalanche situation.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

There is packed snow in hollows and areas protected from the wind. But there are also places where it is extremely wind-pressed or the old ice crust is exposed.

Risks

Around midday, several avalanches broke loose from steep, sunlit rocks. The snow has been transported and it was only really possible to go off-piste on slopes that are always very busy and are also regularly blown up.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

You had to search quite a bit today to find skiable snow. Too much wind and heat... Disappointing after the great day yesterday. But with a bit of care, it was still possible to do a few runs. Tomorrow it should be even more difficult to find good snow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
