Snow condition

1 von 5 Sterne

Good snow conditions if the route is chosen accordingly, off-piste descent not possible, stone contact possible but easily avoidable on blown or rutted sections

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

Soft, fluffy powder, 20-30cm of fresh snow, bottomless powder and face shots guaranteed with the right route choice.

Risks

Avalanche warning level 3, lots of fresh snow. Above the tree line, accumulations of drift snow on weak old snow on shady slopes at all exposures. Edged weak layers and avalanche edges visible. Observation of how several were triggered by individual winter sports enthusiasts. Danger spots covered in snow and difficult to recognize. Easily detachable snow slabs on slopes with little traffic.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne

A totally unexpected, long-awaited, unforgettable powder day. Face shots and first lines included. Perfect weather from morning/midday.
1 star deduction, as there was so much going on and after a short time many variants were ripped up.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
