Snow condition
There is snow throughout but not too much. Due to the sometimes strong winds over the last few days, the snow conditions vary greatly locally. Stone contact is always to be expected.
Snow quality
From powder to harsch/firn, everything depending on the exposure. On the SE-S-SW slopes, the sun has left quite strong traces, on the north side there is still powder above 1800-2000m including melting snow.
Risks
The LLB gives a good picture of the situation mainly is on old and newer drift snow accumulations in leeward areas and surface wet snow slides during the day.
Overall impression
A beautiful day of touring with mixed snow conditions. The entrances are the main problems in the whole area as they are free of snow and blown off. We couldn't find the expected firn due to the sometimes very strong wind.
