I would actually like to give it 4 stars because there is a solid base of 1.5m above 2000m. However, it has rained up to 1700m, which means that even the valley descent is completely snowed out.

Wet snow up to approx. 2000m, above that partly wind-pressed snow. But you could still ski it well with the right skis.

Risks

In the area itself, I could see many small snow slabs that had been triggered by skiers. But they were never dangerously large. Avalanches have occurred on pretty much every very steep slope close to the ridge, some of which have extended over 500m in length and width. The wind flags are evidence of further snow drifts and the trend is likely to remain the same in the coming days.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

As almost all the variants in the open ski area are flat, it was possible to ski well with the handbrake half-applied for the tense avalanche situation and for once you didn't take any stones home with you in your skis.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
