In the valley and especially on the south side it's already quite green, but further up you'll find sufficient snow cover. Not much for the end of March, but I would say it's pretty much the same as last year.
Snow quality
Beautiful firn. Towards midday, however, it becomes very slushy. Yesterday afternoon temperatures in the valley were 17 degrees plus. On the mountain it was around -1 degrees in the morning and slightly above zero in the afternoon.
Risks
According to the LLB, warning level 2, there were many older, sometimes very large, falls to be seen. Most of it is probably down by now. The main problem is now likely to be moisture penetration and the problem of old snow
Overall impression
Nice day of skiing with a few nice turns in the firn
