A very good rootstock in all exposures. On the south side, however, spring is already visible and areas are pitting. All the usual variations are possible. A cosmetic 5 cm of fresh snow fell with the cold front on Thursday.

Dust on Crust: Hardly any fresh snow on melted and refrozen ground. Quite difficult to ski. North side not soft until after midday. East side on the way to the parking lot at 1600m then quite wet. If you found exactly the right time and a smooth surface, it was good for cruising. But that was rather difficult to find...

Risks

According to the LLB, a typical spring situation. Many slides and also larger avalanches down to the bottom have confirmed this. Everything froze solid on the snow side below 2300 early on and was therefore rather uncritical.

Unfortunately, too little fresh snow and a poor base made the otherwise beautiful day not the ideal day.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
