The Nebbiolo at 500m in Piedmont is covered in sugar. Thanks to last week's dump, it can be skied north up to 700m to the espresso station. Before that, the base was also rather poor.

Breakable crust
Powder snow

Piedmontese spring powder. On the north side it was quite nice to ski. Everything that gets sun is baked and there is no firn yet. There was a lot of wind in places, but it was easy to see.

Risks

Diurnal warming
West North-West

Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)

During the first snowfall, it was really blowing at the top. Observed a crack caused by a skier in very steep terrain. There are more and more slides on the west-east side due to the warming.

Overall impression

Equal

Powder - Pizza - Piemonte Wonderful short trip to the Southern Alps with a view of the sea. Always beautiful - something new to discover. We'll be back for a Retour d'Est!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
