Snow condition

4 von 5 Sterne

There has been a surprising amount of fresh snow at altitude since Sunday. It must have been 30-40cm depending on the location... However, there was also a lot of wind.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

The fresh snow is rather heavy, packed and very wet in the valley, but despite this there was still a lot of fun to be had.

Risks

Due to poor visibility and heavy snowfall, I only moved close to the slopes and on flat terrain. During the course of the day, it continued to snow heavily as the wind picked up. With the rising temperatures, it's going to be really tricky tomorrow.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

The snow wasn't bad, but due to the limited visibility and the avalanche situation, it was a day with drawbacks. At midday the wind was so strong that snowdrifts about 50 cm high formed on the drag lift track. Due to the rather poor visibility, I hardly took any photos. It was mostly enough for orientation, but ground visibility was scarce.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
