Snow condition

Fits so far - descent to the valley on the glacier possible. We didn't find any rocks. No open crevasses.

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Very dependent on exposure. In areas protected from the wind, up to 20 cm of fresh snow, which was also very fluffy, where the Föhn storm has raged, everything is hard and full of windswept snow. This then alternates from time to time with a nice cover. Everything facing south became heavier as the day progressed. All this on a very hard surface. Everything from 4 stars to 1.

Risks

Relaxed.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Visibility improved as the day progressed and the wind was less strong - nice descent with partial powder, snow all the way down to the valley. CRs from Sölden, Ötz-, and Pitztal are largely the same as everything happened on the same day and all 3 valleys had the same weather.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
