Exposition
Snow condition
Continuous snow cover from approx. 1650m, from approx. 1800m then quickly 1m compact base increasing strongly towards the top.
Snow quality
Powder snow on the north side up to 2200m in the morning, which turned directly into firn-like snow on the flat. Below 1900m at 1 p.m. pretty sluggish/swampy.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Overall impression
Beautiful gully, which is 43°-50° steep for a long time, sometimes even steeper towards the top. We took advantage of the safe avalanche conditions and good pitching conditions, and the first alpine start of the season was rewarded with one of the best tours of this winter. We didn't make it all the way up to the exit (approx. 50m further down) as there was a rock/ice step in the way and the highest risk of avalanches according to the LWD was on extremely steep slopes close to the ridge.

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
