Tashach wall
Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
A little rocky at the start, then plenty of snow down to the valley
Snow quality
Changeable conditions from powder snow to crushed snow and firn
Risks
No avalanche activity visible. Old wet snow avalanches and sluff from the last few days... No problem if you finish the tour early today.
Overall impression
Relatively good conditions in the Taschachwand. The start was tricky with rocks. But it was still doable because the snow was grippy. In the wall there was good powder, at the foot of the wall there was a short section of broken snow and then firn at the bottom.
The start could be more difficult if more snow is slid out. But it should still be enough for the next riders.
The flatter entry variants were also done, but the bare ice has to be taken into account when choosing the line. This was not a problem on our route.
