It is no longer possible to ski down to the valley - but it is May! Nevertheless, you do have to walk a bit and finding your way down into the snow patches is not easy. But you can expect to walk a bit at this time of year, hence the 2 stars. There is enough snow on the glacier itself to

No lid or anything like that. Not just slush, but no more powder either and our north face was also of the icy variety. But very fine firn in places! The lower part was already hard and wet.

If you don't expect too much snow, there are still good conditions for alpine tours. But beware, the ski area has its last day on 10.5.
