It doesn't look quite as wintry as the last cr on October 7th. But it's still good for skiing. In the backcountry, you can make a few limited turns in the tracked snow. For the piste, it's better to take the carvers!

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

In the terrain, the snow is heavily packed and often wind-pressed. Mostly pleasant to ride but nothing that really satisfies. On the piste, you can have a lot of fun with the right grip! Quite hard early in the morning, then soft at the bottom from midday onwards

Risks

The danger of crevasse falls is currently very high! The crevasses are mostly open or slightly blown over by the light wind of the last few days. Watch out!

Nice day on the Pitztal! All the lifts are in operation and you can ski in quite well. The Stanglfresser are training in their hundreds, but that doesn't really bother us because there's still enough space.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
