Snow condition

2 von 5 Sterne

Snow starts on the north side at 2300m, the glaciers are mostly still well snow-covered, but the highest snow level above 3000m has probably now been reached.

Firn
Powder snow

Considering the time of year, it probably doesn't get much better than this. In north faces over 3200m powder with a direct transition to beautiful firn on the flatter slopes. Everything that is not directly north had a lid and avalanches restricted the choice of lines on almost all slopes.

Risks

Diurnal warming

Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)

Good conditions after a cold, clear night. Due to the first wetting of steep north-facing slopes, however, there may be some large avalanches.

Overall impression

Worse

Made the most of the fresh snow and stable weather at the weekend. Unfortunately, probably the last really good days in Tirol.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
