Exposition
Snow condition
There is snow, even in almost every crevasse. But from the Brücle you walk 5km from Moretatsch.
Snow quality
First slab powder then firn and then the Moretatsch in super slush with snow swamp crevasses and new swamp boards
Risks
Wind intensity: No Wind (0 km/h)
The greatest danger comes from the crevasses. On the south side, we saw an avalanche coming down from the summit of the Palü. From the steep terrain around half past two.
Overall impression
An early start and if you want to ski all the way down then be a bit earlier than we were today. But a great day in a great environment with very special snow conditions and only light Pils.
