Exposition
Snow condition
3-4, when bushwacking there were no attacks from below. in the field you can recognize some mines and you drive a little more on sight again
Snow quality
Preserved coke can be found in very wind-protected shady areas. Otherwise there is set solid snow and a surface that has been given a small crust by the fog. The old snow cover under the slippery topper on steep slopes is interesting to ski. Firm and load-bearing.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
In the basin around Prali there is somehow significantly more snow than on the southern slopes directly in front of it. At altitude, many wind textures can be recognized in SE-E. Snow that has been blown in is noticeable on the north-facing slopes, which are richer in snow. The surface on the steep slopes there probably fell off the day before yesterday. Crack edge approx. 20cm
Overall impression
Very nice variations and very promising terrain discovered. Despite the fog yesterday, a lot has already been tracked. Every venture in search of untracked areas is a sweaty affair. But every double after a run makes up for it. And the drive into the valley alone deserves 3 stars.
