Still pretty good despite the warm temperatures and the rain last night. Below 2000m and on south-facing slopes it's slowly starting to snow out, so the snowfall and lower temperatures have come at just the right time. Above 2200 m, we're still seeing around 1.5, so the basis for further snowfall is definitely there.
Snow quality
Where the sun went, it got slushy pretty quickly. Super spring conditions! As soon as the sun was gone, direct refreezing and a consistency somewhere between reinforced concrete and granite. Today we skied some nice fresh snow above 2100 m again. Still not enough though (but that's changing) and wind speeds that immediately chase you away from any slightly exposed spot.
Risks
Over the last few days, the danger has mainly come from wet snow avalanches and only on north-facing, high-altitude slopes from snow slabs. The recent snowfall, combined with the wind, is likely to lead to fairly large accumulations of drifting snow. Caution is the order of the day!
Overall impression
Once again, we've had pretty much all the conditions you can imagine in 10 days. The last few days have caused very little damage at the relevant altitudes (>2100m), so it will be interesting to see what else comes down over the next few hours!
