After 4 days of hurricanes with rain and sun, it finally snows again.

Snow condition
Unfortunately not as good as before New Year's Eve, at 1600 there are only remnants. It only gets good above 2000 m and according to the LLB it's over 2 m from 2500. The snow/rain line has been at 2400 m for the last few days. Since today finally snow down to 1500m. Supplies will follow.
Snow quality
Disaster. Ice track and ultra-hard snow, slightly sugared over. But ok as a base. And the slopes are also quite nice to ski on with the fresh snow cover.
Risks
A lot must have come down in the last few days. The snow cover has been well consolidated by the alternating rain/freezing. Only the surface could form a weak layer for future snowfalls.
Overall impression
Well, before New Year's Eve it was still great down here, after that it was hardly any fun because of the rain and hurricane. After the sun yesterday, it's finally snowing again today, with more to come tomorrow. Unfortunately the internet is too bad for pictures, the wind must have knocked down a transmission mast in my area.
