Well, the usual picture again. There's a lot of snow from 2000 m upwards, easily 1.5 to 2 m in the Les Angles area. Below that, especially on the south-facing slopes, there's very little, and at 1500 there's nothing at all.

This time full three stars for perfect firn on the south side of Pic Peric and Pic del Pam. In the shady valleys, everything was frozen as hard as concrete even in the afternoon, despite the significant plus temperatures!

Risks

The steep south-facing slopes >2000 m have not yet descended. But that should happen in the next few days, especially as they are still partially overgrown.

Overall impression

A solid three-star tour with more great weather and spring-like temperatures. A lot of people (20+, the vacations have started) at the summit for this actually quite lonely region. Actually, there is an excellent basis for further snowfall, but unfortunately there is nothing in sight...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
