Snow report Pyrenees Orientales, 12/27/2014
Like last year, I would like to give you a brief overview of the conditions in the Eastern Pyrenees this winter. Here, too, there has been quite a lot of snowfall, and it's now also quite cold (maximum temperature -8 at 1800m) and very windy.

Snow condition
Meanwhile quite good, the day before yesterday there was almost nothing up to 2000m, then quickly becoming more and more. With the fresh snow that has fallen since yesterday (60-70 cm at 1800, 1 m at 2200), the snow conditions have become quite good.
Snow quality
Nice cold, fluffy powder, just the way you like it. Unfortunately, the wind has already solidified it a bit. Let's see what it looks like tomorrow.
Risks
Difficult to judge today due to the lack of visibility. In the LLB, there is a 4-pointer, which I have to agree with, that the base, where it was there, consisted more or less of bare ice and the wind was still blowing very strongly.
Overall impression
Siberian conditions in the south of France. Unfortunately it was extremely uncomfortable today: 0 visibility, very cold stormy wind and almost no turbines open. The weather is expected to improve tomorrow.
