Snow report Pyrenees Orientales, 12/29/2014
Well, the good weather is here now, but all the snow was probably blown to Spain on Monday... Lots going on in the ski area, not much off-piste if you want to avoid scratches. Very cold (-10°C at 2000)

Snow condition
It's crazy how quickly it blew all the snow away again. Of the 60-80 cm that fell in the Capcir at 2000m, there's not much left to see. Even over the mountains of the Ceradgne (Puigmal) where it snowed about 30 cm, there were huge plumes of snow all day in the direction of Spain. The pistes in Les Angles are ok, but you still have to watch out for stones.
Snow quality
Despite the wind, the snow is still pretty fluffy, but due to the lack of a base, it's better to stay on the slopes. Artificial snow is still being produced, even during the day. As a result, it's sometimes icy on the slopes.
Risks
Still a 3 according to the LLB, at least. Massive snow drifts all day and huge wind plumes over Puigmal, Carlit and Peric, the likes of which I've never seen here before. Too little snow in the ski area to really want to ski off-piste.
Overall impression
Quite ok for the Pyrenees at the end of December. Compared to last year, however, rather disappointing in terms of snow quantity and quality. In Les Angles, the GoPro density increases antiproportionally with skiing ability. Almost everyone, even the child in the ski kindergarten, now skis with one of these things. Often on an extra-long pole so that you have even less control. Of course, there's no money left for ski pants, so jeans have to do the job. It's a crazy world. I ask myself: who wants to see these incredibly boring testimonies to their own skiing inability anyway?
