Snow condition

40 cm fresh snow
Descent through forest

It's snowed down a lot in the last few days, about 50-60cm. At the bottom, it's more like 20-30cm, and due to the warmth and rain in between, it's already gone again. Below 1400m it gets difficult in the forest.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne
Wet snow
Powder snow

Fine powder snow in the forest at the top. In the afternoon it was already real braking snow at the bottom, below 1200m it almost knocked you off your skis.

Risks

Old snow problem
Much fresh snow
North North-West

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Complete whiteout above the tree line. In the days before, however, a few small slides could already be observed in the very steep terrain. I couldn't see any danger signs in the forest.

Overall impression

4 von 5 Sterne
Equal

Fantastic day in Pow with little traffic. In contrast to other areas, not many people seem to want to freeride in the family ski area ;-)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
