Blown backs

There's nothing at the bottom. You can ski down on forest roads up to about 1100 m. But there's a lot of snow at the top.

Breakable crust
Powder snow

We expected firn and found powder. In fact, also on the south side. It had once snowed here up to at least 1800 m. I don't know what was underneath, we had taken the gondola down. But as soon as the sun came out, a blanket quickly formed over the snow.

Risks

Fresh avalanches
North

Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)

Sliding snow is an issue. We have also seen broken cornices.

Avalanche activity

South

Altitude: 1900 m

Overall impression

Equal

Even if it turned out differently than expected, it was very rewarding. Although it's not easy to predict where the powder will actually be.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
