Exposition
Snow condition
Thin. Many hidden stones on the first slopes above the Rescher Alm. Above that ok. From Rescher Alm to Rojen we had to unbuckle twice for a few meters on the descent on the rolled road. Some also climbed directly from Lake Reschen, so it doesn't seem to be possible. The opposite western sides are extremely high and free of snow.
Snow quality
North-facing would probably have been the better choice today. Had a few turns in ONE exposure, nice powder there. We were too early for firn today with a descent from 10:40. It certainly got soft later despite the cold wind. But the firn was certainly not perfect either, the snow cover is not yet frozen through well enough and has too uneven a surface. Below 2300m it was deep swamp.
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
Everything seemed very stable. Certainly a slight increase in danger in the afternoon.
Overall impression
The third star is for the unknown region and the amazing views. Not worthwhile skiing today, but with better planning there is at least something more to be gained, I think.

Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
