Even in the inner Alps, it's getting slower. There is nowhere near as much snow as in the northern Alps, but above 1000m you can definitely think about skiing off-piste, with the exception of denser forests, where there is still not enough snow, and occasionally you can get through to the surface in open terrain, but with the upcoming snowfall this should soon be a thing of the past.
Snow quality
There's nothing to complain about. Fluffy powder, not as deep as elsewhere, but still a lot of fun.
Risks
Due to the much smaller amount of fresh snow, it's probably not as tense as further north, but you have to be careful, I wouldn't dare go above the tree line here either.
Overall impression
Nice, even if yesterday was better.
