Strong wind from the west. Correspondingly heavily loaded or completely blown away down to the vegetation. Good powder can be found in places, but requires careful skiing to avoid contact with the enemy. However, the powder does not reach further than the knees.

Everything from wind-pressed to powder. Due to the cold nights, the surface was ripe in places. First layer also really frozen and untracked and nice to ride.

Risks

On our route selection virtually without hesitation, mostly below 30 degrees. I would consider LLB 3 to be appropriate. The north-east gully looks rather threatening. Heavily blown in and poor in snow in the lower part. Attached is a photo of a snow slab that was triggered by a skier. In my opinion, the coming fresh snow will change the situation dramatically.

Wonderful day under a bright blue sky. Our priorities were clear. A defensive, leisurely day of touring without risk or haste.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
