Snow condition
The snow conditions are quite good down to the valley. However, some rock and gravel bands, especially in the lower section, can be skied around easily. The hollows and gullies are well groomed.
Snow quality
Dachstein mountain station -2 degrees. North and west rather icy and hard. South below 1900m heavy and slushy. The east side was clearly the best, but towards the end of the day it was a bit clear.
Risks
South-east and east above 2000m clearly hairy in terms of drift snow near the crest and far into the slopes. The south exposure was more affected by sliding snow. North and east = hard with partly non-bearing tops and then blown off again.
Overall impression
Was probably the better decision.
The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.
Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
