Snow condition
From approx. 1200m there is a closed snow cover with the exception of southern exposures. Areas near the crest are often heavily blown away and poor in snow. In north-eastern exposures there is still a thick layer of old snow, so that all obstacles are well snow-covered.
Snow quality
The quality varies greatly depending on the exposure. In northern exposures there is about 10 cm of drift snow on the surface. Underneath is a partly stable cover and sometimes a layer of floating snow. To the south-west, the snow cover is already heavily soaked.
Risks
The main problem is sliding snow avalanches. The snow cover is stable in the shady regions.

Casual sunny day! Only the snow quality could be better...
