There is still plenty of snow from the gondola to the valley station! Only on the way from Edelgrieß over to the valley station has a ground avalanche caused some patches to become loose.
Snow quality
Really everything is there... At the top of the ski area, there are still a few nice meters of powder to be found. Depending on the time of day, you can expect ice, firn or completely wet snow in the south/east/west exposures. The hard nodules from the wet loose snow avalanches that have gone down are a bit tedious.
Risks
Some relatively large mouths can already be observed. The main problem is the sliding snow avalanches.
Overall impression
With the fantastic weather, we really had another mega day on the Dachstein. There's nothing to sit out!
