Snow condition
In the upper areas on the glacier about 70-80cm of September snow. It gets less towards the bottom. Only a few areas with snow reserves that have survived the summer.
Snow quality
At the top it is reasonably stable and nice to ride until the afternoon. Increasingly muddy and unpleasant towards the bottom.
Risks
Crevices are a much bigger problem when skiing, but be aware of sunlight when climbing.
Overall impression
According to the season, but at least it is quite white and with skis is better than without. If you leave the track, a rope is highly recommended. Cross-country skiers are up there, no normal skiing yet.
