Snow condition
There is actually only snow on the glacier and only a few centimetres there. Three lifts and the Ramsau glacier trail are in operation on the Schladming glacier. From a distance, you could see some open crevasses on the Hallstatt glacier. A lot of fresh snow is needed for off-piste activities.
Snow quality
On the steeper sections of the slopes, the glacier ice was quickly revealed by numerous snow sports enthusiasts.
Risks
The main danger currently comes from crevasses and stones.
Overall impression
The weather was good, the wind was quite cold and there was enough snow for a few turns. There is an urgent need for more snow.
