But even worse than expected or hoped for. There's a good 30 cm of snow in the area, the top 5 of which fell overnight in very low temperatures and are nice and soft. Underneath it is already well set, which is why you can (very) carefully make a few turns in the terrain, but unfortunately it's not really possible yet.

Basically quite good, especially the overlay from the snowfall tonight. However, you don't sink in deep (which is welcome given the snow conditions) and there are no face shots either...

Risks

Above the tree line, despite the thin snow cover, it is important to watch out for snow slabs; there was a lot of wind here, but the signs of it are partly covered by fresh snow.

Somehow there is more snow both further south and further north, I went to the Planneralm because it was the start of the season there, so no tracks but unfortunately too little snow for serious skiing.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
