Attempt Edelgries: Abort after the steep section (approx. 2100m) and carry the skis back to the car. Except for 4 turns, simply too little snow...

Shitty... It snowed about 20cm during the night. But the fresh snow is almost everywhere on the meadow or stones. In addition, the wind is moving the fresh snow quite strongly, so there are places with little snow and places with lots of snow. (see photo)In any case, it is virtually impossible to ski down the slopes

The fresh snow is cold and powdery, sometimes more, sometimes less compacted due to the wind. It would certainly have been fun with a proper base.

Risks

Up to 2100m on our tour there was actually no danger of burial because there was too little snow. However, the blown-in areas are easily accessible (floes and cracks -> photo, settling noises) and if you're unlucky, you'll be swept away by a floe and dragged over the next rocks.if you go further up, you should definitely be careful!

Well, it didn't really pay off today.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
