Snow condition
Still really bad despite fresh snow. The southern sides were more or less bare before the snowfall. But there is no base on the north side either
Snow quality
top quality, still powdery in the afternoon, even on the south side.
Wind drifted snow
Intensity: low
Above: 1900 m
Risks
Wind intensity: Medium (20 – 40 km/h)
The snow often lies on the Sören ground. Above the tree line, there is a lot of snow on the ground
Avalanche activity
Dry slab avalanche
Altitude: 1900 m
Overall impression
All in all a good day. Caught a few stones due to lack of base. The snow conditions are still well below average, it needs a few more snowfalls to make it reasonable off-piste.
