Snow report Saalbach / Fieberbrunn, 01/18/2017
Short update: The obvious variants are all down. Even the 10-15 minute hikes are already quite tracked. The really good stuff is hard to find and tends to be on the shaded side and you have to do a lot for it.

Snow condition
Mediocre 3 stars. Everything is possible, but sharks lurk everywhere. Especially the one around the Wildseeloder is really blown off and quite bad. But apart from that you can ride everything.
Snow quality
Just under 3 stars, on the sunny side it has a rather bad crust in places. On the shaded side and where the sun is not in front, you can find good powder. Nice to ski!
Risks
Watch out for drifts on the north side, they come off quite easily as we found out today. Otherwise it's rather on the safe side. You should also watch out for sliding snow avalanches on the sunny slopes. There were a few to be seen today.
Overall impression
Nice day, lots of hiking but also really nice descents!
