Snow condition
There wasn't much new snow after yesterday's precipitation. The bomb-like base and the young fresh snow that fell in the dense forest with very little wind make pillow runs perfect.
Snow quality
The snow has settled somewhat due to the strong influence of heat. In places exposed to the wind, the snow was sometimes very compacted and not very forgiving. Therefore no longer 4 but 3 stars today.
Risks
The avalanche situation is still considerable and large in the wind-influenced area. However, we were pretty safe in our treeruns. The snow was never packed and compressed here. No triggering to report.
Overall impression
Great day with lots of great runs. Probably the right decision not to go to the wind-affected northern slopes above 1800 meters.
