At least there is enough snow on the north side not to destroy the equipment, but a lot has blown off on the south side and there have already been some ground avalanches.
Snow quality
On north-facing slopes there is a layer of softer snow perhaps 10 cm high, with a hard layer of old snow underneath. Where there are fewer old tracks, it's halfway usable, but there's no powder to be found. Due to the clouds and fog, it hasn't firned up anywhere today either.
Risks
Low avalanche danger at present, but with stronger warming danger of avalanches that go down to the ground.
Overall impression
If you're already in the area and want to see the area, it makes sense to visit, but I wouldn't go there at the moment if I wanted to ski off-piste. The slopes were mostly good to ski, but further down you noticed the artificial snow. We either didn't find Powairea or, understandably, nothing had been built.
