Snow condition

Despite the very high temperatures, nothing has really changed since yesterday. However, the snow will slowly decrease, especially in the valleys and southern slopes.

Unfortunately, it is definitely decreasing. Both the wind and the high temperatures have taken their toll on the fresh snow. You can still find nice soft snow, but only in a few wind-calm areas between 1600 and 1900 m. With the temperatures, you should soon be able to find firn again, which will probably be the best alternative until the next snowfall.

Risks

Pay particular attention to sliding snow and wet snow, there is always something on the way. Otherwise, the fresh snow already seems to be quite well bonded.

Overall impression

Well, after yesterday I had expected better snow today, but it was scarce. What's more, it was only great weather in the early morning and overcast towards midday...

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
