It's all set for the Freeride World Tour 2016 in Fieberbrunn!

Snow condition
A good 20 cm of fresh snow fell again overnight today. You can now walk in the trees without touching the ground. It is difficult to judge above, as there is no visibility. It was a bit windy and it is to be expected that there will be drifts.
Snow quality
Top in the morning. Cold, fresh pow, just the way you want it. Towards midday, however, the snow became much heavier due to the rising temperatures.
Risks
According to LLB over 1600mH level 3, difficult to judge outside the trees due to visibility. One can certainly speak of a critical amount of fresh snow. Avalanches have also been triggered by skiers around the tree line in the ski area. All in all, it's certainly not without its problems and you shouldn't forget your risk management when the sun shines tomorrow!
Overall impression
With the snowfall of the last few days and the predicted sunshine, the contest should be able to take place tomorrow in good conditions. Only the assessment of the avalanche danger remains to be seen. Hopefully dangerous conditions won't put a damper on the contest! (Report by PowderGuide reporter Sophie Stevens.)
