Still very good. In sunny, very steep and rocky terrain, it is slowly becoming thin. Generally speaking, there are also isolated patches of ice in sunny exposures. But you can still reach the valley without any problems. No comparison to the last few years.

Today we were mainly on the untracked east and south-east sector. The snow was already up to 10 cm deep in the morning and despite being slightly damp, it was great to ski. Rarely did we hit the hard surface. We were only out until midday.

Risks

We were able to see some larger wet snow avalanches as well as numerous fish mouths. The scattered drift snow was clearly visible and the snowpack generally looked quite compact. On steeper sunny slopes there was some sluff (moist and very slow). There are some good cornices. You should keep an eye on these slowly but surely as the temperatures continue to rise (spring conditions).

A nice day until midday with good snow conditions and great weather.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
