There's snow down to the village and beyond (up to 1300m) today. Unfortunately, the descent is still not skiable, but the snow cannons are working on it! Otherwise, you can find powder in all areas, especially on east-facing slopes.

We were surprised by 50cm of cold snow from 3500 to 2500m. Cold, powdery, flowing over our shoulders - cold smoke! Locals say that the snow from Monday night came directly from the high fog and has therefore seen little change between cloud and mountain.

Risks

The snow has fallen without the influence of wind. There have already been a few layers of snow on the glacier ice in the precipitation-rich November. Everything seems well compacted here. Steep skiing is still tricky. And the avalanche situation is also difficult to assess at times because we are in the cloud.

Even without visibility, this is definitely a burner! You can powder on the piste all day long. After all, there are only 80 people on the slopes and there's 40-50cm of snow.
First face shots of the year and complete euphoria after whiteroom ecstasy!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
