but hello! if i hadn't seen it with my own eyes, i wouldn't believe it. it feels like twice as much since winterkind's last CR. no subsoil touches below the tree line.

20-30cm fluffy, compact underneath. great to ride, less sinking depth than last time but you can accelerate well.

Risks

not without. at the tree line/light forest wild drifts in all expos. the descent should be chosen with care. above the tree line, as described in the llb, completely blown off areas next to massive drifts in gullies and hollows. we could not observe any fresh descents, but saw 2 older ones that probably went down by themselves due to the warming or the rain.

it was a struggle this morning because the measuring stations didn't want to show the volumes in the llb. thank goodness we got going after all. much much better than expected, lots of snow, heavy track work, but alone again. TOP!!!! edit: no great pictures without a winter child, sorry!
