Unfortunately much worse than at the beginning of December. Numerous north-facing sliding snow chutes do not make the choice of descent line any easier. Bushes, ditches and all other terrain traps should be kept in mind. The numerous rather large bollards of the sliding snow chutes in particular will remain unpleasant for some time to come.
Snow quality
Beautiful cold 25 cm of top quality fresh snow (4 stars) unfortunately on a hard, unpleasant surface. The wind influence was hardly noticeable in the forest. Due to the impact on the hard surface, the overall rating is 3 stars.
Risks
Wind intensity: Low (< 20 km/h)
Most of the time quite relaxed in the forest. Only close to the ridge at the tree line was the wind influence noticeable. Today I found the connection between the fresh snow and the old snow cover much better than yesterday, even in the steeper forest terrain. Warning level 2 up to 2000 m, from 2000 m warning level 3.
Overall impression
Beautiful forest tour, which was constantly accompanied by light snowfall, with very good snow. Only the hard base was annoying and this will probably remain so for a while until larger amounts of fresh snow arrive.
