Snow condition
Rather 1-2 stars. Everything looks great, but especially in the higher elevations everything is heavily blown over. 20 cm of fresh snow was added by Monday morning, but overall there was hardly any settlement (except today), which is why ground contact is always inevitable in forest or more structured terrain. you can even ski down into the valley if you choose a clever route. the best locations are sheltered from the wind between 1000 and 1700 m.
Snow quality
3-4 stars, but the better outweighs the worse: super nice, cold, fluffy stuff on the shady side. In the sunnier areas it's already very wet today, but still very good to ski.
Risks
The situation report warns of heavy drifts and drifting snow. We could see some of it on the SW slopes, but little of it was visible in the other expos, with several, including larger loose snow slides on steep, sunny slopes that reached far into the flat terrain.
Overall impression
Plus a 4th personal star, because great weather, great snow, fun crew and for me no contact with the ground for the first time today... Overall, however, you are still very limited in your choice of route, forest descents or the high alpine area should be avoided.
