Very different. Horrible at lower altitudes. Hard to believe, but true: last year (!) at the same time it was much better at lower altitudes. In some places there is no snow on the sunny side (but also other expos) up to 16-1700m. Zero. On the other hand, the snow situation in the high altitudes is above average and there is also about 1 m in favorable and shaded middle altitudes.

Unfortunately not the slushy Baaz we had hoped for, but almost everything was very hard. The warmth was not enough for the dry air. Very sunny exposures were somewhat softened, but you always have to be careful because icy passages were hiding there too. But I was only up to 1750m. Slope condition often good & grippy, but sometimes also icy.

Risks

Hardly available. Not enough snow at the bottom, everything rock-hard at the top. The Bavarian issued a 1 in all altitudes, I can fully endorse that for today.

Overall impression

Nice weather, good visibility and nothing going on.
Unfortunately, no good snow, I was hoping for a snow party, but there was only a small amount of it.
