The Wengerau presents itself in deep winter. Even in the denser forest, you can ski without worrying about the surface.
Snow quality
Very fine! Cold, loose powder. A bit more was added overnight. Even where there were tracks, it was quite fun. Sprays had to be done with caution in view of the resulting white-out.
Risks
According to the LLB, a triple. In my opinion, drifting snow was not an issue in the forest. The topic of sliding snow is more exciting. Was almost surprised by a pretty massive crack on the descent at about 1300m (see picture).
Overall impression
The fact that I couldn't go out yesterday was a bit of a pain. But in the end it was still a very fun morning today! In view of the many tracks and the occasionally poor visibility, a good 3 stars.
